This is why I shouldn't read
leiseus journal. He's giving
me song ideas. Already I have one idea that popped up. These are just the lyrics. If only I could carry a tune, I'd sing it, so there'd be an idea of how it goes, but my voice is worse than William Hung's. That and the melody is probably based off a popular song and I just can't think of what

It's been about 10 years now since I've written a song or played a guitar. The motivation's gone.

Second, I am thankful for your complimentary feedback. I didn't even know anyone looked at the songs on YouTube as they are easily my least popular videos. Even some of my super-secret private videos have more views than then. Heck, both of the videos that were forcibly taken down had more views than these videos and neither of them had porn or animal abuse it in. So I'm glad you liked the MIDIs I put together. One of these days, I'm going to have to tell you the whole story behind those ones on YouTube.
As far as published, I doubt it. Even looking at the lyrics there appears to be a bit of repetition, even for a song. Also writing a song requires knowing how to read and write music, a skill in which I am woefully deficient.

I first thought I was like William Hung too and even though I have a pretty bad voice, I'm already glad I can keep in tune with the song! At least - if it's my song. I tend to sing stuff my own way, so I lose a lot when playing SingStar. :P
Just keep on writing, you never know what these lyrics will bring you to!

As far as what the song is about, I've got to be honest, I really don't know. Actually, I just tried to write about the them of a tragic figure guided by the wind, the rush of the air, and what would happen if all of a sudden, those winds stopped. If like Icarus, would the flier fall to the sea below once the sun came out and melted those wings, or would the flier would be a puppet without strings? And the latter could mean a lifeless doll, it's invisible thread (FLYMAN!) irreparably snipped, or worse, a doll controlled but not by any strings but something more sinister (EBONY DEVIL! PSYCHO POWER! -- ahem, I'm sane now). I personify the Wind as she as the Wind as it just seems to be a feminine element to me. No this isn't my fangirl mind thinking of Nina, Storm, and all those air-bending ladies.
