i like to keep track of my weight, even though i don't do anything when it changes. now i've always hopped on the scales at home and made a mental note but for the past 3 years i've been using the height/weight machine at my work (also a rough indication of how long i've been at that place) and the one odd thing i've noticed during this time is my ( Read more... )

What happens is that when you sleep your bone structures decompress after a day of standing up. During the day your height decreases and your feet also get larger.

So here's a hint, go buy shoes in the afternoon and not the morning.

What else is weird? Hmm... Oh yes, your body feels less responsive after meals, especially large meals because circulation devoted normally to your everyday use is diverted to your stomach for digestive purposes.

And nobody knows the real reason why we need to sleep, and in particular, why people need varying amounts of sleep to function effectively.
