I feel your frustration. I am 69 n the older I get the more things I want to get rid of. Sure the old canning jars with blue marble glass in them n some with sea glass look nice on the window sills but moving them n getting all the dust accumulation holding loose bits of floating Husky hair n cat hair are a pain. My other half will pull stuff out of our trash that I've tried to get rid of. Old towels sitting around taking up space, he's pulled out of trash cause I didn't hide them sufficiently. He can use those for rags even though we already have a barrel full. Big white wicker rockers sitting in the basement collecting dirt. If I could just manipulate those into the jeep when he's not looking! Heavy things as I age are no longer wanted. I've become a fan of bamboo, so light and easy. Hang in there n hopefully those men will be your strong arms.
you just made a list, now write it down and ask for help. you go girl, there are all kinds of productive energy out there for you to harness beside your back
i agree. let some of the adults kids lend a hand. mom and dad are getting older and need some help. its nice to go to parent's house and have it all done and prepared for you, but its a bit unrealistic as we get older. they want a meeting venue let them get off their big important butts and help. no ticky no washy lmao
