What a painful 'rollercoaster' ride Alzheimer's Disease is. To experience the progression of the loss of 'self'. I'm thankful you have such a loving, supportive family around you. This are not challenges to face alone for sure.

I watched 'The Baby Boom' and enjoyed it a very long time ago.

I'm glad you are enjoying the knitting machine. :-)

Having watched my mother go thru this disease with my stepfather like her you are expecting to much from your mother. First Iam shocked that she is in a house alone with someone coming by to help. One of the most important things is the same routine everyday throw that off and you throw them off. She does not understand you yelling at her. It is one of the hardest caregiver jobs there are.

Plz read up on this you are doing what my mother did still expecting your mother to be her old self be rationale and able to do things she no longer can. She is not being mean to you, she doesn't know what is going on and is reacting to her reality being turned upside down with all this new stuff coming in.

She needs 24/7 care with people who know how to deal with this disease and the ups and downs of it. I so hope your family does this.

I know its hard but take the about "me" out of it.
