How long does Stollen keep?

Is it an "eat today" bread or can it be made a day or two in advance?

it takes us a few days to eat it. I just put saran wrap over it and leave it on the counter! I also freeze some. It'll keep for six months or a bit more.

Did you make some?

I haven't yet...but I'm thinking that I'll make some after Christmas for when my Dad & stepmom come down from Maine to visit. I'm way too overbooked before Christmas to think of adding in something else!
