Nancygrew perfect little ficlet. So much info in so few words!!! But you have Reid down pat:

"He’d been always been slightly amused about the pettiness of his younger self sending his uncle a “na na na na na” gift."

Perfect Reid!!!!! Thx!!!

This is, as always, delightful, insightful and just plain wonderful. But I do have two small quibbles.

While Reid would have attended Harvard Medical School in Boston, most of Harvard University (including Harvard Yard) is located in Cambridge.

Rather than Harvard Yard, which is another name for the main Harvard campus, chess is played at the outdoor stone tables located in front of Au Bon Pain in Harvard Square. It is the only place, from Spring through Fall, to find regular outdoor chess games near the Square. It is the place Reid would have played when he was young. As the sign there says, "Play the Chessmaster, $2."

Cambridge not Boston and Harvard Square not Harvard Yard. See, I told you they were very small quibbles with a damn good story. :)

Thanks very much nice feedback for my fic and for the information [and since it sounded so familair I'm assuming it's one of those things that I knew once upon a time. Well, the boston/cambridge, harvard yard/harvard square thing. I'm certain I never knew about the Au Bon Pain.].

Fantastic, as always. Even though I pretty much hated Angus on the show (more because of why he was there rather than who he was or what he did) I love that you've done this fix-it for their relationship. Reid having at least one family member around to care about him somehow comforts me. I also like the thought of someone who knew pre-Oakdale Reid seeing how Luke has made his life better. How great that the Oliver men can bond over being blackmailed by sweet Luke!

Thanks for the awesome feedback. I hear you with the hating the reason for Angus on the show. "Reid's finally opened himself up to friendships and love after dedicating himself solely to medicine for many years and we hit him with a train. And let's make sure the audience knows that even his childhood was sad and lonely."

Just fantastic! Both sweet and funny! There were too many lines I adored to even pick a favorite.

Once again, amazing! OMG, the birds chirping. :D I'm so with Reid on that one.

And aww at the biography and tee hee at Luke being a master blackmailer.

This is my favorite part:

“Maybe you should teach him chess instead,” suggested Angus while eying the board.

“He already knows how to play,” answered Reid.

“He any good?”

“Absolutely sucks,” replied Reid. “But he has some good points.”

“He seemed . . . nice,” grumbled Angus.

“He is,” agreed Reid. “But he has some good points.”

:D :D :D

Thanks so much! It's important for everyone to remember that Luke blackmails out of love!
