This is what I think Bob would have thought about the two candidates.

I hated at the end of the show, when Bob found out about Chris's health crisis that he suggested that Reid and Chris should be co chiefs. This made no sense to me. The fact that Chris risked his life and opened the hospital up for potential law suits should have put the kibosh on Chris's meagre chances. UGH

Love that Bob says that Chris is way out of Reid's league!

There's NO WAY that Chris would have been a viable option for COS. In addition to the sexual harassment of Alison, the perjury, not catching on to the fact that Evan Walsh IV was a murderer, etc.,. he doesn't have a world-renowned reputation like Reid does. YOu're right that it made no sense. I'm pretty sure that the people who wrote the last couple of weeks of the show had never previously seen it.

I just stalked your page and found several fics I've never read. I was feeling a bit in need of some nancygrew re-read since fall set in before the shortest summer in history (or my history anyway, and while the rest of the US baked and burned, we had below average temps most of the time) and was so happy to see this. Love it! This and the Susan interaction, fantastic. Chris is such a clueless ass. The fics post Noah punch were hilarious. Thank you for writing and I have no idea how I missed these. Wonderful, snarky and amazing as always!

Thanks so much for reading and commenting. I appreciate such kind words about my fic. Whenever I include someone I haven't written before, I seem to always really enjoy writing them and wonder why I didn't include them before.

I actually enjoy fall if I can prevent myself from focusing on how close winter is.

Chris has charm? Huh...totally missed that, maybe I was distracted by the the sexual harassment, stalking, whining, and blatant incompetence...huh. Who knew?!

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of Chris. But Bob is probably more fond of him than I am. I think the writers were trying to indicate that he had better people skills than Reid but it never really came across. Katie talked about him being charming IIRC but whenever they showed Chris schmooze people, I thought it was creepy. Like when he went golfing with Leland the day after his grandmother died in order to score points wiht a member of the board. shrug.

Good ol' Bob. I am definitely ignoring a lot of what went on towards the end of Reid's storyline (and in some instances, even before that) when it comes to certain key characters' behaviour. I may have only started watching when Reid showed up, but even I could tell how OOC it all was. As far as I'm concerned, THIS is/will be canon! Xx
