So I just watched Tom Brokaw sign off of his last Evening News. Maybe it's a silly, shallow thing to be sad about, but I'm going to miss him. He's covered every big event of my life. When he got upset about the anthrax that was sent to him infecting his secretary and broke down on camera, that was the first time that bit of...insanity...actually

I cried like a baby at the end when he signed off. I don't know why. I felt like all of the innocence of my youth was gone. Sniff. I'll miss him too.
