My doctor diagnosed me with Hyperthyroidism on tuesday. My Thyroid makes too much hormone, which speeds up my metabolism and my heart rate, plus i'm slowly losing weight even though i am eating the same. If not treated, it could lead to heart damage and blindness. Now, of course, this is in severe situations, and I've been diagnosed very early, so

This actually happened to my grandmother when she was younger. She did the whole pill-every-day thing, which, really, isn't as horrid as it seems--I take a pill every day, and will for quite some time. My boyfriend has to take one to three pills every day for the rest of his life for a fucked-up stomach, so...it sucks, but it happens. And I'm here for you if you need anything!
