Reminder: Ficathon Still Accepting Signups

Just a friendly reminder that today is the last day to sign up for tw_femficfest if you've been thinking about it but haven't dropped by yet. We have lots of great prompts already generated, so even if the main round isn't for you, you might drop by to see if there's a prompt that interests you for the bonus round, where anyone can post a fill to any prompt.

I will definitely drop by for the bonus round. Tragically, Gwen is the only female character I want to write or read about right now, so I couldn't manage to cheat my way into signing up legitimately :)

You being you, I'd have matched you specifically on the Gwen prompts, but the bonus round is nice because you do get to pick and choose and not have to stress at all about it. :)

(Sadly, I have no excuse this year to assign myself a River hangs out with Lois story.)

Have just read my way through the prompts and there is one I really want to write. Will there be a free-for-all after the main postingfest?

Yep. :) The bonus round is for "I really wanted this one so here's my story." Those get posted two days after the first set of stories, and can be posted afterwards whenever.

Fabulous. Because I've just found two more I really want to write. Can't wait for my actual assignment; there is something tempting in all of the sign ups...

I wrote last year's story on the train on my way to and from a job interview, and I shall write this one in the house I was able to buy after getting the job.

See, that's what I tend to think: there's always something cool in someone else's assignment (even if I love mine, too). No pressure means more room to play with the ideas. :)

That's pretty awesome, too! I wrote mine on lunch breaks for the job I had last year. They may be calling me in October to put in some hours, so it's possible this one will be as well.
