I really like the attention you show toward filling in the (vast!) blank spaces in Jack's life story. You do a lovely job showing the weight of all that time, in both directions, while at the same time not going too far and ending up in unbearable-emo-land. (Doctor-kissing helps, of course! He's older, sadder, maybe wiser, but he is still Jack, isn't he ^___^)
I think your stories are the best approach I've seen to tackling the utter giganticness of the idea of Jack actually living for millions of years. It's an impossible thing, but you write it wonderfully. Thank you.

I have been working on this crazy theory that makes me happy. Everyone says River is Jack, but she's not, she's much more of the type to make a brilliant yet convoluted plan to get from Point A to Point B she would so steal a dinosaur and a forklift to accomplish her goal and see nothing wrong with this because it needed done. Whereas Amy looks at life like a smorgasbord of entertainment, and she spent years waiting for the Doctor to come back, and the Doctor is attracted to her but is mostly "Put on some pants and stop kissing me, 'kay?" and Amy is so very Jack.

Okay. Rambling done.

Eleven can always use more smishing. Also, cheek-pinching. 'Cause he's so damn cute.

I AM TWO HOURS AWAY FROM YOU AND I HAVE A CAR. IT CAN BE ARRANGED. (Just saying.)

You do immortal Jack so well, not over the top emo, but well aware of the weight of all the time.
Knowing that he'll run into the Doctor, over and over through all that time has to be some sort of comfort.
And yes, at some time Jack will be MUCH older than the Doctor.
