Commentfic Roundup

On Friday night, the always wonderful pocky_slash hosted a writing chat, wherein participants are given a prompt and 15 minutes to write. It was a blast, and you can check out all the stories here. (Includes original fic, Sherlock, White Collar, TW, Who, and more. Check it out.) I showed up late, but managed to fill four five prompts, and I'm feeling ( Read more... )

These are all wonderful, but the Donna story made me gasp aloud. I'm recommending it all over the place.

:D I loved how that one turned out, because it was really not what I was expecting when I started typing. Glad it worked for you, too!

I'm with Taffimai, that Donna story was extraordinary.
They were all pretty exceptional.
I'm afraid I haven't a clue who your porn story is about which takes the gloss off a bit, but hey - shapeshifting threeway sex - I'm fine with that.

:D Thanks! Poor Donna.

"Gargoyles" was a cartoon in the mid-90s. Half the voice cast were "Star Trek" alums, the animation was Disney, and the writing was amazing. David Xanatos and Fox were villains who went through story arcs and became less villainous, while Puck was the Shakespearean character of the same name, currently moonlighting as a human named Owen, who worked for them. (Oh, and Fox's mother is Titania, Queen of the Fairies and wife of Puck's other boss, Oberon. I need a large piece of butcher paper to explain the interreltaionships on this show. Anyway.)

Um.

Glad you liked the porn!

I do actually remember Gargoyles but nothing like what you're writing here.:-)
I remember being quite taken with it and with the story telling. My kids were quite small then and it was a bit beyond them I think, but I remember being pleased that there was something on that I enjoy too.

Well, most people tended to focus on the actual gargoyles. I was a sucker for the whole cast. My daughter loves the show now, so hey, it still appeals. :)

Whoa. That Donna fic broke my brain. Do you mind if I rec it around a bit? It's amazing, very simple and yet amazingly....amazing, basically. Love it.

Also, I'm terrified myself by what that note might mean. :/

The Donna fic was great --- and creepy! Simple case of bad timing, or total mind fk?

Joining the chorus on the Donna ficlet. The Doctor's sense of timing is about as good as his TARDIS navigation, isn't it?

Also, the Lisa bit is a scenario I've wondered about, from time to time, given what a fertile Myrtle she'd been, down the Rabbit Hole. Glad to see you'd thought about it, too. :)

He tries! He really does. And one day, he's going to head back to that black hole and retrieve the manual.

:D I've had the Lisa plot stewing since before Madrigal was written, but I never wrote the story where it belonged ("Rose and Handy's Summer Vacation at Torchwood").

Thanks for reading! :)
