I have a few sets of commentfics to post over the next few days. Round One consists of 'fics posted at jantosparkle's Pornsgiving Leftovers party (which is still going on if you've got leftovers of your own to share).
I've never seen/read/thought of the second scenario in that fashion, and oh boy did it rip little bits of stuffing out from my heart. Well done indeed.

I have not read these yet. It was a long drive. My brain can't read words. HOWEVER.
I AM DOING A THING. Maybe. I don't want to go into too much detail yet because I don't want you to get your hopes up when it inevitably crashes and burns because I am ass at follow through BUT. If we'll all just humor me for a moment, I have a couple quick questions: 1. What sort of stories do you like to read? (Not fandoms or pairings or whatever, but... genre, I guess. Fluffy, silly, introspective, dark, etc.) 2. What is a song you are grooving on right now? 3. What is your favorite thing about winter?
You can comment back or e-mail me at fourteenacross@gmail or whatev. SORRY FOR BEING SO VAGUE. THE RESULTS MAY OR MAY NOT, YOU KNOW, MAKE THIS MAKE MORE SENSE.

OKAY!
1. I am very easy to please, genre-wise, and will devour anything that's well-written and that hits my buttons. If I had to pick one that I liked best, humor/satire.
2. I share your love of all things Dar Williams. Travelling II has been in my head lately, but essentially all of "The Honesty Room" makes me happy, and "The Christians and the Pagans" has been the theme of most of my past several winter holidays.
3. I hate winter. A lot. Hot chocolate makes it somewhat better, but still. Hate.
Um. No idea if these were what you meant, but there we go.
The first one is just great. Ianto will go fill out forms now, apologies all around.
And the last one is the perfect kind of sappiness, wonderful and warm.
The middle one, though. Like everyone else, I was not expecting the ending and it is perfect. I'm so happy I'm getting more fic on Lisa these days. Also,

1. He is good at blithe efficiency. La la, nothing to see here.
2. Hee! Yeah.
3. I'm so glad you liked it, and that that part worked for you. It was the clearest part in my head of the story, and exactly that sparse.
