I love Gwen's caring and her confusion. I caught on as soon as Ianto came into the room. But it's heartbreaking, too- to know that sooner or later, one of them's going to leave.

Yep, I had briefly forgotten how this world spun, then it was Christmas and the truth and drinks all round! Good story through and through.

I don't know how you manage to juggle such different universes so seamlessly, but yay! More Rabbit Hole! I adore this fic, didn't even realize that Gwen's perspective on the whole situation was missing until you supplied it. It is hilarious how long it took for them to properly explain themselves to Gwen, and how Gwen tried to handle it as delicately as possible.

And you explored more of the differences! How Torchwood Three Would Have Been Without Ianto. Different. It saddens me a little that this Owen never met Ianto, but I'm also a little busy bouncing up and down because Jack is better after going through everything, but the Jack that Gwen knew basically no longer exists and time travel and paradoxes and I think I'm going to have to reread this!

But first, "I think I've managed to get everything under the As and Bs organised. I'd really like to have a word with whoever decided to name half the artefacts 'Alien Something.'"

Well, that was a slice of the story that really needed telling. And so very interesting to get Gwen's take, with more on how her affair with Jack played out in her life (that was one place I wanted to see in her head more, after Wonderland). In fact, more Gwen POV in this 'verse is most welcome! (who, me, hinting?)

Reading happy!Jack is seldom as rewarding as in the Rabbit Hole. He's always so deeply aware of what this cost and so fierce in his joy and his determination to protect it.

This is an interesting sidelook for me, because the original story had her finding out (and initially getting mixed up) when Lisa had a pregnancy scare as a B-plot to something else. That storyline was recycled for BAMSR, and I like it better in that universe, but then I wondered, so how did she find out? Other than Tosh (who already knows) Gwen is the only character who will really care. And thus, story. :)

Hey, he breaks the timeline (at least) twice for this universe. He's a leeeeetle protective ... ;)
