;) Well, for me, the Alice story is set before she goes off with Jenny to save the universe and be awesome, so the AU goes on and on.

(playing late catch-up on fic today)

These were all lovely; I'm with the other commenters in finding the Alice one the most hard-hitting, but also liked the sense of strangeness and girl-solidarity you conveyed with Rani and Maria. And the Suzie is perhaps my favorite because it fits form to content so neatly: the epigrammatic style suits both her search and the eventual solution she reaches. It's also Suzie in a nutshell, as I see her.

:D I find myself in the ironic place of not feeling the Alice one as deeply as everyone else, because in my head, this is set before she meets Jenny. But since nobody else lives in my head, I can see why it's hard.

I really would love to write more about Rani and Maria, separately and as a team, but currently, I lack ideas. *ponder*

Also glad you liked the Suzie one and that she came across as right to you. She's a fascinating character.
