Ah, there's my shivers up the spine moment for the day. I love how easily it fits the Torchwood themes and motto.

I quite enjoyed this. I love the ongoing contrast of Jack sharing gruesome future-history with Ianto, clearly unwilling to share anything emotional/personal, while at the same time showing us how he's been forced to learn these teeny-tiny subtle cues from Ianto just to get a hint at what's going on in Ianto's head (because undoubtedly, Jack would never ask in the first place). And in the end, Ianto would have been happier just knowing about the plums. Subtle emotional punishment from Jack, to teach Ianto not to ask?

Probably reading too much into this. But I enjoyed it nonetheless!

You've made the miracle for me. Zombies are the most irksome monsters available. Worse even than the giant crocs or alligators--the really big ones city blocks long. And you my dear one, have made even this ridiculous monster make sense in a funny way becos you centered them on the beloveds. This is the part of the pair that I love, like Jack, where they are simply together and safe. I'm so happy ending I disgust myself, sorry. Thank you for a sweet read. It is also one of the quiet creepys--walking around a "corner" to see the worst thing you can see after something fine. You keep eating your Wheaties and Chocolate cos it's doing your brain good!!!!

In this case, I should probably starve my brain, so it isn't as tasty ... :D

Glad you liked it!

Oh jeeze! This started out sweet and poignant, and I then thought it was about to veer into the crack!fic territory you do so well, but instead it got all serious... and then it ripped my heart out with a chilling precision those zombies could never achieve. Talk about your wild ride!
