I never thought it possible, either. It was a total surprise.

(I don't think so. SAT is a pretty different thing, see?)

I believe you will like them! Do try and see while they're still in the movie theaters, though. It's always a great experience.

Oh, Gods. We had the same problem. Only when Globo started transmitting that we were able to actually see it with SAP.

I really did, too. He did a great job, and I mean it.

Vá ver sim! Todos são muito bons.

I'm a believe that someday the Academy will give an award to Serkins.
Oh man, they should so do that. They should even invent an award just for him. Now that would rock!

Hm. "Best Digitally-Altered Performance" or something of the sort? Meh, it would be no fun. He'd win every year Peter Jackson decided to make a movie... If the Academy were a little more open-minded, they would've nominated him for Supporting Actor.

True, he'd win every time he did a movie with PJ ;)
But you're right, they could've nommed him for that, but I think that that in the end would be really open-minded and yeah, but it still would've rocked if they did :D

You know, in a few decades years they may have that. Serkins would have to be forbidden to be a nominee, though.

Judi Dench does have an Oscar-just not for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She got Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role as Queen Elizabeth in Shakespeare in Love. Just saying.

I agree with you on most things-I would have loved it had Good Night, and Good Luck won, for sentimental reasons-but I wasn't surprised at Ang Lee, because he is, as my parents have said, "The Director's Director."

Serkis...true.

I didn't see most of the movies nominated. Is that a sin?

Oh, I know that. But what I meant is that I wish she got one for Best Actress before she died. I mean... she's great. Actually, I think she got two Oscars for best actress in a supporting role. I'm jyst not sure for which movie the first one was.

Good Night and Good Luck was such a great film. It's a pity, really. What do you mean by "The Director's Director"? o.o'

Oh, indeed. A very big one, especially if you live up there. I mean, here the major movie come out less than a month before the Oscar. Sucks, really. Go to the movie! *pushes Runi out*
