First off - a big THANK YOU! to everyone who wished me luck and sent support in my decision to jump ship from the corporate suck-hole where I've spent the last five years. I really appreciate you guys, and each new congratulations sent really made me feel good

yes, action verbs, that's what it's all about for the resume. Walking out the door for the last time, you must have felt a wash over you, not unlike clean water over a muddy spot on your body. I love that feeling.

I've done the unemployment thing twice and have become the queen of resumes if you want me to take a look at it. Once you get a good solid resume, it's pretty easy to tweak it for each job that you apply for.

yeah, best of luck on the job hunt, and good on you for finally getting out of there. I remember leaving Ukrop's. Wow, what a wonderful feeling. I kept meaning to reply earlier, but cuddling baby kept me in "browse-only" mode. Even now I type with one hand as Keira sleeps in my other arm.

Five years of service, they should have at least said you would be hard to replace, or offer you more money to say. Those people suck. Get the hell out, conquer the job market and don't look back.
