So I decided to close my Bank of America account. I opened it in CA, since it was the biggest bank there. I liked the idea of it, because they advertise BOA as "being everywhere". Yeah BOA SUCKS HARDCORE. I fucking hate them. But yet, I still have them because like you said, the portability. When I lived in LA, EVERYTIME I went in there to do whatever banking, I'd have to seek out a special form for 'the rest of USA' accounts, and EVERYTIME I would hand in said form, the teller would ask me if I wanted to change it to a CA account, most of the time the same lady would ask me and I would be I didn't want to last week, still don't this week. I even asked them once 'How come this is Bank of AMERICA, yet CA is on they're own system? Why not just call it Bank of California?" and the lady just looked at me. Plus, I've lost about $50 over the past six months in service fees. It's ridiculous. Once I'm settled in one area for a couple year with a real job and real life, I'm closing them and getting a small credit union. Those know how to treat their customers right.

OMG I know. I was essentially forced into getting a CA account. Which by the way, means getting a new card and everything. They just got sick of doing my stuff i guess, cause one day she literally took me into an office and made me do it. I hate them so much its ridic.
