i am itching so bad to start my gardening, but i'm not even going to be around regularly until after the beginning of april, so no spring planting for me this year-- i'll start with the summer planting after my sister's wedding.

i tried to get hayden to take me to visit you at work last time we were at betty griffin, but we ran out of time. but i waved!

hmmm... mid to late april... that's when I'll be starting my jack-o-lantern pumpkin seeds, ripping out my ornamental cabbages and delphiniums, harvesting the first batch of purple tomatoes... I would suggest starting an herb garden in april.

ps I work every day except wednesday and sunday, and you should totally come see me one day. the nursery is looking faboo for spring and the roses smell divine.
