If I had a dollar for every time somebody told me that I needed to take time for myself, we would be a lot further out of debt!  In the battlefields of newborn Isabelle and toddler Alice, my doctor wrote me a prescription for 1-2 hours a day of time I devoted only to me, if even just to sleep.  The therapist I saw back in 2007 challenged me to ( Read more... )

So glad you have found an outlet, it really is so important for everyone's well being, too bad the Orioles are making my sports outlet unbearable.

Becky will be relieved to know that she is not the only Mom so completely overwhelmed that is is hard to face the day, thanks for sharing your honesty. We love your family!

Hey Kevin! D'oh, sorry about the Orioles :( Sports is definitely one of Al's outlets and it's tough having an outlet that can cause such stress and grief! Remember, it's still early in the season!

I know that Becky and I are definitely not the only Moms who feel that way. Parenting is definitely the hardest job I can think of! But, the payoff is worth it (most days, ha!). It gets better, so they tell me... :)
