Hey, you may not know me, but a friend pointed me to this post. I used to staff the con, and well, I can't say its unexpected, the same thing happened two years ago. I just feel bad for those of you that were looking forward to the con. Well, good luck.
I actually called Miyako hotel and asked them about it, but they asked me to talk to Ray (owner JTAF) and I called him, then he corrected the e-mail after I called him XD; Concerts still on Saturday, different place... Btw, I'm just supporting it, I wont be able to go to this yr's JTAF =(

Ah, I was gonna crash the con with some friends, might not anymore depending on my availability. =/ And yes, I'm a friend of Joe's, we both go to FX. =D
