Ok...anyone else really bothered by the fact that MRE seems to have given like...100 interviews about the finale. Is this a Swan Song thing? Why only him? Where is the rest of the cast?

ugh

I think it's because MRE's the guy to go to if you want to shake someone up for "details" about the plot. That or the media is fascinated by Ben. Sterling Beaumon gave eighty thousand interviews before/during his stint on season 5, too.

Wouldn't know. Wasn't really following Lost that closely back then.

I think it comes down to the fact that he gives a great interview.

He teases without giving major stuff away; he's funny; he seems to really enjoy them...and there's also the fact that a lot of people ARE very much intrigued by Ben.

I'm not worrying about it. I'm in that weird "if they kill off Ben then sod 'Lost' cos I'll not watch again" zone.

I'm in this camp - he's also extremely well spoken and not a half-bad equivocator himself. He can give a very full, very interesting interview and still not tell you a single fucking thing about what's going to happen.

It's true Michael gives fantastic interviews and answers questions about the show without spoiling everything, so that is probably why he has been making the rounds lately. But in my paranoid pre-finale mindset it worries me a bit that he has been talking so openly about still being on the show next season.

I know how dumb that sounds, but seeing as TPTB have enlisted some of the actors to go forth and tell lies, what if he's one of the lying liars? :-/
