Mononoke is brilliantly insane! Or insanely brilliant, or something. It's weird as hell but I dig that kind of stuff; it's cool that you like the anime too. ;)

I actually only VERY recently became a fan (I'm finishing up the last story arc tonight!) but I am already hooked and I can tell I'm going to have to go back and rewatch a bunch of times in the future. :)

Yeah, issues with scanlations are a bit of a problem, and everybody has their own opinions, just that I found it funny how that person got so many request to take it down, but still did not do it.
Well, it's definetely not a face paced anime. And usually a story is about two episodes. For me it was okay, and some stories really touched me like the one in the first episode. But I guess it depends on the person :P Maybe give it a try again, and see from there? (:

I must agree with you... I too think that person should have stopped uploading scans to other websites after receiving so many requests to take it down.

Well, I liked the art and also the animation, they were both very original and strange. So if I have time probably I will watch it ^^
