Describe the meaning or significance in your username:Honestly, I stole the name from one of my Neopets. X3 To me it means seeing through the veils that exist around everything and finding some measure of truth. Er, or something like that. I haven't totally decided myself. ^>>^
Favorite color:Orange/Purple. I can never decide between them
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you?I'm the second in command. I generally follow orders, but sometimes find myself giving them.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Seriously: Half full.
Your favourite drink is?Lemonade. Or generally anything lemon-y.
Smoking. Yes or no? No. History of lung cancer in family, but it might be worth noting that I probably would if there wasn't.
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests?Anime & Manga. Music. Comics. Art. Theology. History. Psychology. Languages. Books. Instruments. Animals. ^Oo^
What are your pet peeves? People with no ambition/extremely lazy people. Closed minded-ness.
What are your hobbies? Special talents?
1.) Reading & Writing. Listening to music of all kinds (Rock, Europop, Jrock/pop, Krock, Dance/Techno, Metal etc.). Learning interesting things (like how to play an instrument), Photography, being with friends, shopping (window, mostly, no $$)
2.) I can come up with creative plans/solutions to assignments or problems. I'm a good liar (and only half ashamed of it.) I can give good advice.
Your strengths lie in… and why? My strength is in my determined/ambitious mind as well as my love for my friends. I have goals, and I -will- acheive them. I will not let my friends be lazy and give up on their dreams either. My strength is also in my honesty. (Odd coming from an admitted liar, ne? X3) I will tell you what you -need- to hear to get over whatever problem it is you have.Most of my 'good advice' is actually just telling people what the real problem they're having seems to be, and what they knew was true, but needed someone to tell them anyway.
Your weaknesses are… and why? My weaknesses are: My poor communication skills that can stop me from making/keeping many friends, as well as my low self esteem and often untrustworthyness in what other people tell me.
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why? Fictitious: John Constantine from Hellblazer, Jesse Custer from Preacher, and Crowley & Aziraphale from Good Omens.
John doesn't give a d--n who you are or what you think about him. He's hella smart, and strong, and pits himself against both heaven and hell to walk his own path.
Jesse Custer is muchly the same way.
Crowley and Aziraphale plan to defy both Heaven and Hell in order to try and prevent the apocalypse. Why? Because they like Earth the way it is. (Even with all its flaws.)
[Sorry, it's really hard to describe them to someone who may not have read their respective comics/books.]
What do you look for in a friend and why? Shares at least a few of my interests, is open minded, loyal, honest, and likes to have fun every now and then (if not all the time)
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why?Anything but vocals. (I don't really like how I sing much.) Sounds cliche, but Guitar: I have pictures of myself trying to play a guitar and throwing up the horns when I was like 6? 7?. Drums: I'm madly in love with drums and wish I could learn how to play. I love watching a drummist's hands while he/she plays. Bass: It's a guitar with 2 less strings. 'nuff said. ^_~
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why? It would be loaded with bookshelves, have a desk for my computer (if only a small one), and I'd like a little room on the walls to display photographs of friends and hang my tennis rackets/guitar up on. Might also need a little closet to hang my coats/odd clothes in. (Bed, bath, etc, is understood...I think. ^_~)
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why? I would be a plain silver ring with a small opal and onyx in it. The silver because 1)it's pretty and 2) I believe the world is made of shades of grey. The opal is my birthstone and is one stone with many colors to it. (Like people and their different sides) and the Onyx because 1) again, it's pretty and 2) to remind people that the duality of light/dark, life/death is not just a hokey yin-yang belief. The silver is also all the jazz in between said duality.

From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why? Hard to pick...Hachi maybe. She tries to do her best with everything, but she's kind of clueless sometimes. ^^ She's figuring life out for herself (with a little help) and she's just very real and sweet to me.
Who is your least favorite character and why? Sachiko. I'm sorry to anyone who likes her (!), I'm sure she has a fun/interesting/whatever side too, but someone did to me exactly what she and Shoji did to Hachi, and I hold grudges ^>>^
Your favorite pairing? And why? I don't have one, sorry!
Your favorite relationship? And why? Hachi and Nana. They're two sides of a coin, and I love that. (If you hadn't already guessed XD)
