I was going to write a report about my time in Lucca Comics since I come back yesterday but I was too tired for basically everything (and I had stuff to do also... my do-to list it's loooong ç_ç) and I wanted to say "Ometedou" to my boys and to Dokkun since it's his birthday but I checked my inbox and I read the news about my beloved 5 hosting

I really want them to perform in JC this year, but it seems that they will be at Kouhaku, and will be unable to host JC T_____T But the fact that they are given the chance to host Kouhaku is something worth celebrating, and it is a really good opportunity for them and I will cheer them on!

maybe they'll find a way to be also at the JE countdown but I don't know if they can make it on time for the part of the countdown that is broadcasted live on Fuji tv... plus I don't know if they will be able to host the countdown because taking care of two live shows it's really hard... and I loved how they conducted it in the last three years, they improved a lot at that.

if JE wants them to host JC again, I think it will be too tiring for them. Of course I want them to host JC also, but I am also concerned for their health.

I need to watch the older JCs XD I only watched last year's one and half of the 2007 one :P

I watched all the countdowns alavaible on the net. Some of them subbed too! I love love love that show, so I want the guys to be able to take their part in it...

I want them in the Countdown too but we can't deny it's a big thing this one... they are the first group in the story of the most important musical show of Japan to host it... huge huge thing...

they aren't scheduled to a single performance? so no performance for Kouhaku? o.O

it's to early to say if they are scheduled to that too but I don't think they will not perform something because if they will not perform something... it will be weird! ^^

I have mixed feelings too! I'm so happy that they got such a prestigious gig and I think they are great at hosting... but it seems like it's still Nakai's time! They only first appeared last year! Of course I will be happy to support them on such a big stage and see them anywhere... but in my heart of hearts I'd be happier if they just did the same thing as last year. I ADORE the JE Countdown and I'd just love for them to be front and center there! ♥

Nakai is having hard times in the last months ;_; TBS canceled the last version of Utaban, after that rumors started about him not confirmed as host of Kohaku... and now this. I wonder if SMAP will be at least in the guest list as usual...

I guess this will be the first year when I'll watch the whole show. I was used to skip the children part but last year I watched it because of Kato Seishiro <3 but I skipped some enka... but this year... XD

I adore the JE countdown too!

if they will be able to attend also JE countdown they can't make it for its start for sure because JE countdown starts before the broadcasted part... around 11pm, after the previous concert (this year is Kinki again!).

I really hope they will not have only a streamed partecipation because it's kinda sad. Kanjani 8 will have their own Countdown in Osaka again this year so this means they will not interact with the others... if the JE countdown will lack also of Arashi it will be really sad to me.

the SMAP question... I was wondering the same thing. I guess they can be invited but for Nakai it will be hard be in the show only as a guest...
