“I’ll make sure It won’t happen again” she add, still not making eye contact.

“What will not happen again, you hurting yourself, or me witnessing it?” … silence….

I love this, I can totally see her closing herself off from her lover. The selfmutilation is so personal, I can see her not wanting to share it. It feels very in character.
