Kitten food

So, Gizmo is picky. I can't find food she'll eat more than a tiny bit of. I found *two* brands of packet food she'll eat, but they're expensive. Any hints? I've been feeding her Science Diet kitten food for dry food, she also doesn't seem to like that. I'd *like* to keep her on healthy food, not friskys or meow mix, if possible. If she's hungry enough she'll eat anything. She won't kill herself. I say keep giving her the healthy stuff that isn't too expensive. She'll eat it eventually knowing she isn't going to receive anything else.

We use Iams. We buy it by the 30 lb bag. They have a series you can progress through as the cat gets older.

I'm with Brad. If you get her a food she absolutely loves all the time, she'll be a pudger. Don't want that.

hey, I'm back on the east coast!

Oh, poor kitty. Try just giving her dry food for a while, some kittens can't handle wet when they are little. They end up going the bathroom immediately after eating. Which means they go near their food. Make sure you take her to the litter box and make her sit there until she goes to train her.

The most recent two kittens @ my parents house joined the family with an adult cat present and they were too stupid to know which was kitten food and which was adult cat food, so they tasted everything. Luckily they actually knew when to stop eating. Some cats eat until there is nothing left and end up pudgy like Andrew said above. Is she going to be an indoor cat or outdoor cat?
