For me the idea of Fisher meeting up with Ariadne after everything was like some strange bee in my head I couldn't get rid of.

And ... uh... of course Arthur wouldn't like it. Not one bit.

Not that he'd every actually say that.

Oh man, I am so onboard with this!!! What a great start. I loved the interaction between Fischer and Ariadne - even though it was from his POV you did a great job of showing us Ariadne's thought process through her subtle reactions to him (I am betting the words 'oh holy hell' were running through her mind). Great characterization of Arthur (well great on all of them really) and I can't wait to see where this goes next!

Thanks! I thought about only telling it from a particular individuals POV because that seems more real. In a conversation/interaction, you don't have the advantage of knowing that the other person is thinking. My only concern was making sure that we capture what the other person is experiencing.

And yes, the words "Oh Holy Hell" are dead on the money.

I'm so glad I've found another fic that combines my two favourite pairings!
I love the idea of having Fischer meet Ariadne after the job (him calling her the 'girl of his dreams' never fails to put a silly grin on my face), and Arthur going to her aid.
There is so much potential in this story; I can't wait to see what happens next. :D
