I used to have straight hair, then when I reached puberty, my hair decided that it wanted to be really fizzy. I mean, really fizzy, like I'd permed it...
Same here! Only my hair isn't even like I permed it. It's just a big mess of frizzy curls. But now that I have a straightening iron, everything's better. :)
Mine is ceramic plated, but you can't set the temperature. Haha, I always miss spots! It's so hard not to. ^^;;
Mine is a Con-Air damp/dry one with turbo. The turbo setting is the only one I ever use b/c I never have time to wait. I use it for touch ups in between salon visits. I always miss the very back of my head.
My hair use to be silky and straight before I hit puberty too. Then in puberty it went frizzy and ugly and darker. Now, After puberty it is very fine, lighter in color and soft then wavy T_T.
Hehe its wierd how you have written about hair today, I just got mine permanently straightened yesterday at some Honkie salon. The guy who did my hair was nice and could speak English (I was worried he wouldn't). Each time he used the straightening clamps on me he blew on the roots of my hair O_O did they do that to you when you got yours done?
Did you get Japanese rebonding? The guy said I couldn't have that done because the coil of my hair is to fine. My hair looks very straight and non frizzy now I just hope it stays like that after I wash it XD....
Good luck with your hair! I find it so difficult using the straightening iron T___T I get my Mum to do it for me if she is free X)
Permanently straightened? Will it really be permanent? Sounds a little scary somehow. I did the Japanese rebonding thing (though it's called "Negative Ion Straightening" in Chinese, I think it's the same thing, at least Google says so! XD) This is my 3rd time and it took 5 hours! *_* I have such stubborn hair... I hope the effects last longer this time...
That's why I bought a straightening iron to retouch some parts esp. the tips and the back of my head. I think I got the right iron for my hair as now it's softer than after I'd straightened it! ^^
I feel like there is no point to blogging lately I feel so boring :( and I just sit on msn all anti social, I'm too anti social these days.
I hope its permanent I don't want to waist my $200. Its meant to last for 6 months. It took me 3 hours its so boring you must of been bored out of your mind for 5 hours! I have to go back for a hair manicure on sunday too T_T its $75. I'm worried when I get to wash it that after it will be frizzy ....
I wonder if I will need to use a straightening iron?

Seems like puberty wrecks havoc to our hair...
