Comic for 11/9
Tuesday's comic went up Tuesday!
For those following the LiveJournal feed, apologies for letting it slip. By demand, we turned on comments over at the comic itself, and the LJ became a victim of that.
Just a quick update of what we're doing.
Tuesday's comic hit a magic number: #30. Other than it being the beginning of chapter 2, it also means that the site has become eligible to host advertising from Project Wonderful once I go through the application process. We have to pay for Isa’s blue pencils somehow. And then there’s Ben’s parking fines …
I’ve got some things in the works other than penning scripts and wanted to address a few:
Forum: We've gotten some site feedback on adding a possible forum. I’ve checked out the free forum included with our Dreamhost package, and I’m pretty happy with it. I’ll be setting it up in the next few days. The LiveJournal account will become an update feed that secondlina has volunteered to upkeep so I can focus on the main site.
Cast page: I’ve never been very happy with this, and have designed a new cast page that should hold up for the first book. The cast will be updated after the end of each chapter to prevent spoilers from accidentally leaking out.
Icons: I’ll be designing a few icons that can be downloaded and used on various places around the Internet. I’m debating doing some wallpaper/icon packages that are donation gifts. Speaking of that, we do have two wallpapers up as donation gifts right now. Please, think of the parking fines!
Stuff! What other stuff would you like to see on site? Please comment and let me know. Likewise, this includes any icons you’d like to see being made, etc.
