They're confused as all get-out when they find it, and there's a deal of time spent in discussion and bickering and nudging it to see if it explodes. But the box does get moved, eventually, once their commander's convinced it's not dangerous and therefore loses interest. Where, or when or who by isn't so clear. You'd think it had just assimilated into the Megastar.
They remember it, though they don't understand.
They also remember what Ro-tor did as a chibi, and tease him about it until he goes for his shurikens and the next task distracts them.
*as amused as Towby would be she's currently detained by Mega-Octane (her version) instead she meerly sends a card and a silly picture of an angry pink Scourge chasing the preds with his sword to explain why she's absent*
Said card gets slightly less poking because really, there's not a lot of acid you can hide in a card (although someone did suggest a rather complicated theory involving subspace). The Megastar swallows that, too - though not after a lengthy discussion of why Scourge might be so pink and whether or not it suits him.

The note on the box mearly says, "Get well soon."
