heee. someone's grown up. not ruadhan, but starting to flex and fill the space in his own way.

tiger-bixies. um, yeah, that could be PROBLEM. CAN they manage hybrids? i think the ones they have are quite enough. luckily they are all very difficult snacks. =p

and Hernén's hindbrain twitched, just a little, wanting the voice to be someone else's.

Argh. ow. That...has really got to suck.

"--I think I'm glad they don't come in stripes,"

*dies laughing* Oh, I can hear the tone in this. <3

Winter-kissed thing took me straight out of the saddle up on Falcons' ridge, claws first, and I'm really, really glad someone had the bright idea to shoe that mare in winter climbing gear recently. Even if she did clip me, too."

That...sounds like a much, MUCH too exciting way to kill a monster. oO

Sean gave him a crooked smile, one that wouldn't have been out of place on someone much older, and Hernén started re-evaluating, because he wasn't sitting across from a skinny boy anymore.

Surprise! Time has passed. *solemn*

This is a really neat bit of interaction. <3

I like the 'wait, I'm being taken seriously?' moment from Sean here. :)
