I like the little details, like how she threads through the crowd and steps on someone's feet because she forgot how long her boots are (and I love that she has big clunky boots for offduty), and the conversations they have with what they aren't saying, how she checked up on him and how he apparently just thinks it's funny and in general? Oh god, they're so friggin' CUTE. <3

The last two paragraphs are just wonderful.
