s'good. The images of Aodh making his way into the room are appropriately disjointed and disturbing for the viewpoint we have it from. I love the last few lines. <3

love it. *prrrr* appropriately dream-eerie, scary and tense. and it's neat seeing aodh go "huh." and shut the door down. there's that neat mix of fairytale and man--cat eyes and book-moving and quasi-mind-reading, but climbing in his room with a rope like a thieving gang boy...

and the last few lines were great. poor kid--life just went and got more inexplicably Exciting on him.

(also, this is even more wonderfully solid and real, in contrast to the older stuff i backtracked to.)

Way to the scare the crap out of a kid, Aodh.

Albeit, better him than a real monster, that entire family sometimes seems to need a good dose of Mary Poppins.

Noo. His transition from being a kid (who can't slide around like the adults do) to being able to see and interact with several layers of city is going very badly haywire, but since he doesn't have any context and his mother even less because she can't see what he's seeing . . .

Yeah. Scared and unsure and now there's people coming in his window. O.o;

Heh. yeah. And scary as it is, the kid wasn't aware how close he was to being shot at that point.

(Kickback is amused at his name of the evening, btw.)

Yeah, kid's not getting told until way later the traditional options are binary and neither of 'em nice. >.>

(:) We figured it'd serve reasonably well for a while--it ain't his name, but it's also not an unexplained tag. And hey, it ain't 'Daisy'. :D)

*g* Most things aren't his name, after all. But yeah, better than Daisy :)
