She's very unusually sensitive to it; assuming you put enough intent/thought behind it, people's names can be used much like crude summoning spells. There were a couple of Incidents back in the day (one can only assume the extremely startled peasants disassembled the shrines at the request of the mages. =\). But Arianhrod . . . It depends on proximity; just saying her name if you're in the same area will attract her attention a bit, especially if you're thinking about her a lot/know her well. (Which is why the people listening to the Bone-Witch story were being so very careful about how much and how hard they directly addressed the idea of the redheaded witch mage in their camp.) Her name being called makes it way, way louder and harder to ignore.
