....my brain confused "dream" as "hope for the future" instead of "vision had during REM sleep" and didn't straighten itself out until after the paragraph about Donnel. This? Made for interesting reading. O.o

Still interesting read in proper context, but interesting in the "ooh, I see" way, not in the "...mrr?" way. mew. One feels for Isael.

One of the reasons I'm not entirely sure of the timing on this is that he's registering 'within touching distance of sanity' as opposed to his usual 'within spitting distance of sanity' after the second war until the sequence that started there (and includes the Midori-encounter, later on). Which really . . says a lot right there. >.>
