[You know when you have one of those days where you look back to see how you got to this point? Well that's Decus right now. He's looking back at his childhood with Alice. He's come quite far that's for sure

[ Oh, look, it's Decus! Anise knows him and she is also quite fond of him.

She runs over to him, now, because she doesn't really have anything to do and she'd like to talk to him -- and find out what he's looking at the sky for. After reaching him, she stands next to him and tries to look at the same spot he is, but she can't figure out what exactly he's looking at. ]

What are you looking at, Decus? I don't see anything.

Worry not dear Anise. I hear we can try it as many times as it takes

[Not that he knew, but he didn't want to worry her further.]

Really?! Good!

... But who knows how long it'll take for us to get this right. Especially if you're the one who knows the rules. You could be completely wrong!

Okay then. Are you ready... 1 .... 2 ... 3

[With a close of his eyes, he thought about the past a bit.]

[ The second she hears him say '3', she closes her eyes and begins searching for something that happened in the past that she can think about. First, some not-so-great things pop up, such as how her papa was scammed out of a lot of money when she was little. But then, she's able to get her mind on track so that she can think of the good things that have happened to her, like all the time she's spent with Spada. And she smiles. ]

[He opened his eyes after a bit.]

Now to make a wish.

[ She's not even going to open her eyes in between thinking of the past and making her wish! That's how determined she is! They're staying closed until this is over! ]

O-okay! Tell me when to do that, then!

[Gotta love the enthusiasm. Made him happy to have someone excited about what he loved to do from time to time.]

Okay.... and.... now, make your wish.

[ Okay, so, the quickest thing she thinks of is gald. Definitely something that's important, of course. And she doesn't say it out loud -- she doesn't know the exact rules with this way of wishing and it's kind of weird so she's just going to not say it! You know, that whole thing where if you tell someone your wish, it won't come true, and all. So she'll just think it!

"I wish for one million gald!"

Predictable Anise is predictable. ]

[Having known Anise for a while, there's only one thing she'd probably ask for. Gald. So while he'd probably not have enough to ever fit her pallet, he could at least slip 500 gald next to her.]

Woah... would you look at that.

[ She opens her eyes a little and looks at him. ]

Look at what?

Sometimes wishes take a long time to completely be fulfilled. Guess they're giving you an advance.

[He points down at the 500 gald.]

[ She looks down and spots the 500 gald. Have an excited Anise, Decus. ]

W-whoa! It worked! It actually worked!

[ And she quickly picks up the 500 gald -- to make sure that it is officially in her possession and therefore is officially hers -- and then hugs Decus in a fit of excitement. ]
