Many years ago, about 1971 to be exact, our son was born. In and around this happy time, finances were tight for a young couple in Memphis. Amazingly enough, over the years I've come to know various folk who work at First Tennessee and I've asked them if they had ever heard of the infamous "W" being applied to someone's account.

To this day no one I've spoken to has had any knowledge whatsoever concerning this or any other letter of the alphabet being used as a flag of some sort.
