Jul 20, 2011 05:30

LOL. I knew this would be the longest blog entry I've ever written, but I didn't expect I'd max out the number of characters. LJ just rejected my my edited entry when I saved it. T__T Been working on this post since May and I added a lot today.  This part will only cover the venues and particular things I remembered from it.  The next one will ( Read more... )

I feel bad you had to read all that. Imagine had I understood the language, this would have been horrifyingly longer. Although I somewhat breezed through the other lives, I do feel bad about not writing a proper report for RADWIMPS, but I just can't skip out on NICO. I wanna treasure and remember as much of it as I can.

It was so cool! I was shocked when Saki-san told me she's only 13, and her mom said they're mother-daughter. They were both so cute. I really regret not exchanging contact information.

Wow... this was one long entry. I loved the part about Ikuko-san and Saki-san. it's an amazing feeling when you meet a fan from totally different country and yet you somehow feel connected to him/her:)
I had to laugh at *crazyfangirlunleashed* part XD.
And i know what a pain it is to have a BIG guy before you. I'm really short and somehow at most of the concerts I went to, there was a guy who was at least 180cm tall standing directly before me ;) [at least usually I was able to move somewhere else then].

Sorry! I just don't wanna forget the details. I hope someday I'd go back to it to remember how it felt, how excited I was, how happy I was.

Connection through music/band. It felt great to have someone understand how you feel, and appreciate what I was doing just to see the band instead of being puzzled why I would do such thing.

when stuck in a bad spot, I always can't make up my mind whether to move to the back r not. It's like I'm hoping that it will just magically get better if I stay. Yeah big guys means big feet (BIG FOOT!), and when they step on you.. it hurts man! So painful! Also, what I really don't like is someone placing their hand/arm right next or in front of my face. In Kanazawa, this girl behind me keeps on holding her arm on my face...for heaven's sake, keep it pointing north instead! It felt like getting slapped as you jump up and down.

I enjoyed reading these live reports. :D

lol, no wonder there was no way I would have seen you. You arrived so close to opening time. XD; I left right after finishing my drink. Wish I had the time to fill out the survey. Actually, I think I still have it somewhere. ^^;

Wow, look at that map! You sure were busy.
I love Japanese people. They are so willing to go way out of their way to help a stranger.

Had you stayed longer, I might have spotted you to write "芽" for me. XD

Normally, I wouldn't ride in some stranger's car. Beyond crazy things happen in my town, which explains my paranoia. So always bumping to helpful and pleasant people was quite surprising, at the same time refreshing. It's like you wanna come back time and time again simply because you don't feel alone when it's so safe.

OMG. I just can't grasp the lengths you went through to see them and all by yourself. >oI couldn't help but laugh at you talking about your broken Japanese, I'd be doing the exact same thing if I were you, haha. Heck, I end up talking gibberish in Cantonese when I talk to some of my Chinese friends about NICO. XD ( ... )

I sure did. I think the toughest was finalizing my Fukuoka ticket. I had to have the ticket like within 4 days. My agent bid for me, but then, they let their Japan side do the processing. So I always had to check my email. It's frustrating because in the past, I lost several flumpool tickets because it was so slow to trickle to the Japan side. When I won my Fukuoka ticket, I had to follow up that they know there is money and where it will be shipped... making sure both US/Japan side knows. Thank goodness I had more than enough money on my account from previous bids, so they didn't have to wait for it to go through. The worst part was I had to change cities from Kanazawa to Takayama, and it was raining really hard all day long for two days. As if that's not bad enough, the ryokan I was staying at in Takayama did not have wifi. Seriously. So, I had to go across town to the nearest internet cafe. That small town seemed to sleep early. There weren't much lights and it was really dark.... and I crossed over the other side of the ( ... )
