So apparently I'm not good enough to cast.

Instead they tried to make me the co-crew head for costuming. I'm not going to do it.

I don't want to talk about it.

I'd try not to take it personally. Theatre is a cut-throat business.

Still, that sucks. *hugs tight* I'm sorry things didn't work out. :[

Oh, I'm taking it very personally. Other people got cast that I know aren't as good as I am. The only reason for it is because the director has an irrational hatred of me.

And apparently I'm not good enough to ever get my work into shows. Four years at Ringling -- nada.

I was on crew all the way through high school and absolutely loved it. I was head of crew for two productions.

I wasn't one who wanted to be on stage, though.

This whole thing is just because the woman directing plays favourites like no other, and for some reason she doesn't like me.

I could do crew, I guess - I mean, I'm good at costuming and makeup - but that's not what I love doing. And for this show? And with the way they've treated me? Definitely not.
