There has never been a more appropriate title for any fic, ever. although I must admit that the guilt part has faded to almost non-existence for me.

Anyway, on to the relevant bit about your writing: The most brilliant part of this, IMHO, is that John is turned away the whole time (or almost the whole time). It makes the delicious angst that much more effective. There's also something quite profound about Jim being the naked one, yet he's powerful, impervious, while no amount of clothing that John puts on makes him any less vulnerable. JOY!!!!

huh, didn't think of it like that, then again, anything "profound" in my writing is often completely unintentional. but, when you bring it up, i like that idea, of John being symbollically naked despite his clothes, and Jim symbollically armoured despite being naked. i like it alot~ that theme needs to be explored more thoroughly, me thinks.

Yes, let's never subject you to writer's block again, as this stuff is so compelling, I can't get enough of it. It makes me hurt for John and Sherlock, and laugh with Jim at how deliciously perfect it all is.
