Oh crap. Well, most biopsies turn out negative due to some false-positive reading on the scan. Don't forget to get a second opinion. Years ago my mom felt a lump in her breast. First doctor she saw practically screamed, "CUT IT OFF!" She got a second opinion and that doctor said, "Well, could be an infection. Let's treat it with some antibiotics and if it doesn't improve, we'll do a biopsy. But of course you should get a second opinion." My mom said, "You are my second opinion." Doctor asked what the first one said and started hemming and hawing wanting to change his answer to what the first said. My mom said, "Nope, we're doing antibiotics first and take it from there." Sure enough, it was an infection and nothing more. Lesson? Get a second opinion and DON'T TELL THEM THEY ARE A SECOND OPINION! Here's to hoping it's just a false reading or some begnin cyst. MY sister had a couple begnin cysts...no biggie. Removal is strictly optional on those. My sister had one removed because it was sitting on a nerve.
