Okay, so I admit I'm bordering on obsession over this, and normally I avoid spoilers like the plague. However since the 'news' broke last week, I keep digging on the vague off-chance that someone will know the truth. In doing so, and also thanks to meredith44 I dug up some more information that had my mind going into yet more areas

I seem to spend a lot of time 'fixing' canon in this show. Oh, for it to become closed canon.

I haven't forgotten. It's just that apart from spending time deliberating about this, I'm working on a long and getting longer by the minute story that's due for a ficathon - due soon. Once I've put that to bed, I can concentrate more. But rest assured it's still there to be done.

... Jenny was the one who made sure Gibbs and Ducky could return after escaping France... they were ALL THERE. (Can't remember which episode it was...)

And I don't like the idea of a small Gibblet spawned from Jenny...

We don't know for certain it was the same time. We didn't see Ducky in any of the flashbacks - not that he would be in the bedroom. It could have been another time. Unlikely, but it could have been. And it came up in 'Smoked'.

I'm still hoping it's her father. I think the father would make most sense given what we've already had. We don't know if he is alive or dead.

Or a lover she had in Paris.

I agree I can't see Gibbs on a mission choosing to have lots of sex. It just doesn't it in right. And in flashbacks we only saw then do the deed once, it just got replayed a lot. Alrhough I know pregnancy-wise one is all it takes but still.

There are lots of other unanswered questions about Paris, the arrest being just one of them. So it might not be the sex part of the relationship *hopes*.

And we still don't have resolution on the Frog either. And he;s French, maybe he was involved in Paris?

I hope they don't go down the kid route because that is so cliched and wouod merely seem to be dumped in there for the sake of angsting out Gibbs again.

I do wonder if the writers have done their homework. They have screwed things up before now as we well know.

I just hope that we don't end up with the kid line. Though Jenny leaving still makes sense.

Wow, these are disturbing but yet plausibel ideas. But I really hope that the writers didn't loose their last pieces of sanity and don't bring up a child. Please, please, pretty please!

Yes, it would be. They can't be that... well, stupid? evil? insane? I lack the right word for it.

Yes, I like them, too. Okay, I'd prefer if we'd be finished with the whole Jen/Jeanne/LG story (although I'd like to see Trent Kord again), but it seems we're not, so these alternatives are far better than version no.3. But I have the feeling that they come up with something we don't think about yet (I don'T know if this is good or bad indeed).

I just hope so, I really do.

I do want to get the whole Jenn/Jeanne/LG thing tied up. I want his body found, I want it all dealt with, I want to know if daddy is still alive, I want to know about why LG is such an obsession. Because I hate it hanging over us and it's dragged on for too long. But I want this season to be it, over, done with and onto other things.

Just don't let the 'Paris haunting be a kid', please PTB. And they could very well have something totally different in mind from all the theories that have been thrown around.
