With the Australian Open about to start, I thought I'd make a prediction for this year.

Sigh. Yes he most probably will, though I reserve judgement on the USO until later in the year as I hold out hope aliens will arrive and transport him back to his home planet of the boggy ones.
For the record, he's not allowed to match anything Steffi did because Steffi was awesome and he's... well. Not. *nods*

*Giggles* If I had to pick one I was the least sure about it would be the FO as he wants it so badly; sometimes wanting things so badly is your undoing.
*Laughs* She was indeed awesome. He's an awesome player, one can't deny that.
What about Serena? Do you think she'll win everything this year?

Hmm. No I don't think she will. I think she's peerless in the ladies game but she seems to be suffering more with injuries and niggles these days and being an Olympic year it's a loooooong season. I think last season was the Slam season if it was going to happen. That said, while I'd be happy to see any one of half a dozen women win GS titles I'd also love to see her do the calendar slam if she can.
My main wish for the season, apart from the aforementioned aliens, is for a Swiss mixed doubles title at the Olympics *G*

She does indeed. I too think last year was her chance, probably her last chance TBH. It would be nice to see more ladies win GSs.
I echo you wish for a Swiss mixed doubles gold. I'm sure they can do it. I'm just glad Mr. Fed Ex gave in and agreed to play with her.
