Hawkeye/BJ always warms my heart; and yeah just seems right some how, the noise/silence as a metaphor.

I've always thought the het relationships (except Mr & Mrs Potter) in MASH were so messed up, which is probably why I can't read or write them.
It was always this idealised long distance vision of BJ & Peg, but there were still cracks; so I doubt they had a happy ever after.
