I wasn't even sure until today that I was going to watch it, but like you I'm glad I did.

It was a really lovely service - kudos to everyone involved in arranging it, it struck just the right note.

I'm seeing a lot of people saying the same thing *g*

It really was so very good. So well balanced.

The same here. I intended to watch bits of it - and stayed and watched it all the way through.:-)

In between getting the groceries I watched most of it. I love watching how they are all dressed and I thought Kate looked lovely. The dress was very elegant and looked beautiful on her. I thought her sister Pippa looked gorgeous as well.

They were very lucky with the weather, a truly lovely day for a wedding. :)

I'm glad you managed to see it too. Oh, she did, she really did and yes, she sister did look lovely and did a grand job with the teeny bridesmaids.

They certainly were; rain had been forecast. Indeed it was.

I missed the Clarence House bit! :-( (Mainly because I decided to back-up my pc this afternoon.) Hopefully they might show that in the highlights programme tonight.

Oh, dear :-(

I'm sure they will reshow it as it was a memorable and different thing.

It was lovely.

I didn't intend to watch, but it was on the morning news as I was getting ready for work and I found myself drawn in. It was lovely and I enjoyed the casual yet elegant feel of it. I remember (vaguely)when Charles and Diana married and found myself very sad that she wasn't there for William's big day. I remember when he was born, and of course I have read many news stories on him, and later articles on him and Kate, so I kinda feel like I "know" him. Isn't that strange? I wish them the best of luck and many blessings.

It's amazing how many people have said the same thing about not intending to watch or just watch the odd bit and yet got drawn in.

Casual and elegant really does sum it up perfectly. Indeed.

It doesn't sound strange, I understand what you're saying. They are marrying out of choice, which is a good thing. I really do hope all goes well for them.
