Snaffled from
lonelywalker and
toomuchfandom because it looked interesting.
When I did the first part of it, I was stunned, to be honest. I knew I'd written a reasonable amount of stories this year, but I had no idea just how many. I have written fifty-five stories this year.
Edit: I realise that I forgot to add my Christmas stories in when counting up, and forgot to count a small NCIS story so, er. actually it's 61 stories this year - that's slightly more than one a week!!!!!! And very few are under 1,500 words.
Stories I wrote this year:
In alphabetical order by fandom.
BUFFY/ANGEL (Giles & Wesley)
Forgiveness DUE SOUTH (Fraser/Vecchio)
How Do You Say Goodbye? What Forgiveness Is About NCIS (Gibbs/Ducky)

The Wrong Place At The Wrong Time I also wrote for zines:
Two Due South stories
Four MFU stories
Five Pros stories
Fics planned for the end of the year:
rare_pair Christmas challenge story. Written, with my beta.
I obviously can't name these, but they are written, for the following fandoms/comms:
ds_seekritsanta muncle ncis_tinsel santa_pros Not typed out fic
Believe me, you do not want to go here. However, let us say that the number of stories, spread across my various fandoms, that I have in progess is more than twice 'life, the universe and everything', but slightly less than the score every batsman hopes to make when he goes to the crease. Plus a handful of stories that are finished and waiting to be either posted or beta read.
My favourite story this year:
Again, this is difficult. Because as I've written in several fandoms, I have favourites in each one, for different reasons, and it's difficult to compare them.
However, given my current obsession, I guess I'll have to go with a Gibbs/Ducky one, so
A Double Celebration, because it's pretty much everything I like in a story without, or so I've been told, being overly sentimental.
My best story this year:
This is very difficult for me to say, to be honest. That's really for other people to say, not me. But if pushed, I think I'd have to say
Eclipsed By Courage, as it is so different from my usual stories.
Story most under appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
How Do You Say Goodbye? is the on line story for which I received the fewest comments. It's not my best ever story, and it is written about the less popular pairing in the fandom, but....
Most fun story:
Hmm, I guess fun is something else I don't do too well ::sigh:: None of my stories are particularly amusing or funny. But the most light hearted, I think is
The Ultimate Proof Of Love.
Most sexy story:
Er. I don't really tend to write a lot of sex in my stories, or write 'sexy' stories. But possibly
Lovers On A Train.
Story with single sexiest moment:
Again, very difficult for me to say for the reason given above. However, I'll go with
An Exchange Of Gifts, as it depicts lovemaking of a slightly different kind, it being between two elements.
Hardest story to write:
I'm not trying to sound arrogant, but I rarely find stories difficult to write - if I do I tend to leave it and move on to another one ::whistles:: However, it would be
The Ultimate Proof Of Love, as even though I knew what was going to happen I found the opening scenes very painful to write.
Oh, my. This actually scared me. I had no idea that I'd written that many stories - and seeing the number of 'In Progress' stories made me want to hide under my desk.
Seasons Greetings to one and all!
