it's been like this for a while. i think everyone is slowly moving on. i have things to update about, but somehow i never wanting to update. :/

Yes I feel exactly the same!!! 80% of the time I do it so I can keep the memory, but it's just not consistent! Does the going back on friends journal happen only for non-paid accounts maybe? Miss your posts xo

I'm not having the issues you are... I can go back in my friends as far as I want. I understand what you are saying about lj.. I have a mirror account at dreamwidth, but I stay mainly here because my core group of friends still update and read. If you make a new blog elsewhere share the address so we can keep in touch!

Oh I will have to check out dreamwidth! Is it a public blog? I'm not really a blog writer where everything is so happy chappy, I'm more of a diary writer... if someone was to find what I've written about them haha I'd be in drama land no doubt! Oh maybe it only happens to non-paid accounts, it's so annoying! I'm tempted to get a paid account so that it will help motivate me to update more... I still have the lj credit you gave me! I feel so bad :( I DEF want to keep in contact with YOU!!! xox
