One of the best ever songs is Metallica's "One". But one of the better songs than that is "One" played by Apocalyptica. Don't know why but Metallica, in their stuff before 1991, had always that noble flavor of classical music in their songs. Probably that's why their tunes played on cellos are so fantastic. It's really amazing how well their songs work with the cellos. You're right, they don't sound like covers. They give me goosebumps.

I've always loved the way cellos sound. And Apocalyptica tunes give me goosebumps too, among other things. I don't think there's a song of theirs that I don't like (well, cept the last album with voice and drums. I hope they get back to their fucking senses!)

Yeah, I don't think that went over too well with a lot of people. When I saw them last year I was kind of worried about what the song selection would be, but they stuck to all the good stuff.

Well they didn't have that Ville Valo loser with them. BTW, he sounded really bad on the stage at the concert 2 weeks ago, and this weekend I saw the concert on TV and he sounded even worse :P Guess he lost his voice with all that smoking and singing in the same time, on the stage. Hope Apo. will stuck with the good stuff for the next albums too. Mmmm wish they were the opening act for R+ in Spain too.
